Presentation of the Department to high school students

As part of the effort of the Department of Industrial Management and Technology to communicate with high school students, in order to support their professional orientation and present to them its modern curriculum and the perspectives that open up with studies at the Department, presentations were organized for students of Lyceums of Piraeus, Athens, Alimos, Dafni and Cholargos.

Specifically, Asst. Professor Pavlos Eirinakis visited the Zanneio High School of Piraeus and the High School of Kallipolis, where he spoke to high school students.

Accordingly, in collaboration with the Liaison Office of the University of Piraeus, he presented to third grade High School students who visited our University from the EPAL of Alimos, the 43rd High School of Athens, the 2nd High School of Dafni and the 1st High School of Cholargos.

Particular interest was also expressed for the Liaison Office of the University which effectively connects the University with the labor market through career counseling, the possibility to participate in Internship programs and Erasmus+, to enrich their student experience, as well as the Department’s outreach activities such as the speeches from market executives and the upcoming 1st Industrial Management and Technology student conference.
