Event on the modern challenges and opportunities in the field of Logistics in Greece and the impact of Agentic AI on the labor market

On Friday, January 9, 2026, as part of the courses “Inventory Management” and “Operations Costing” of the MSc in Industrial Management & Technology and MSc in Project Management of Associate Prof. N. Rachaniotis, Director of the Laboratory of Innovative and Sustainable Supply Chain Management, we had the great pleasure of hosting three distinguished market executives: the Deputy General Manager of Diakinisis Lykourgos Manoliadis, the President of the Hellenic Logistics Company Konstantinos Papageorgiou and the CEO of Pobuca Isidoros Sideridis, who shared with us valuable knowledge and experiences.

Among other things, we discussed the contemporary challenges and opportunities in the field of Logistics in Greece, the effort to promote our country as a Combined Transport Hub in the SE Mediterranean and the impact of Agentic AI on the required future skills in the labor market.
