Conference on Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Geopolitical Dynamics in Energy Transmission

On Thursday 30/11, a conference on “Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Geopolitical Dynamics in Energy Transmission” took place at the Conference Room of the University of Piraeus. The conference was organized as part of the Climate Change & Sustainability course of the Graduate Program in Industrial Management and Technology and was open to undergraduate and graduate students of the Department. During the conference, Dr. F. Spanidis, Project & Risk Management of Asprofos SA, developed the position of natural gas corridors in the geopolitics of the Eastern Mediterranean. Dr. Ch. Roubos, Director of PPC’s Directorate of Mining Exploitation and Closure Studies, presented PPC’s plan for the closure and restoration of the lignite mines.
