Attracting Personnel and the Role of “Talented” Employees: The L’Oréal Group Brandstorm Initiative

Presentation of L’Oréal’s initiatives to attract new high-skilled workers. In particular, the L’Oréal Group has been organizing a global student competition, namely Brandstorm, since 1992 which offers the opportunity to participants to be evaluated closely, thus identifying talented students. During the 26 years of the competition, 154,000 students from 60 countries have participated. Every year, L’Oréal recruits around 150-200 people globally through the competition, as the students are acquainted with the L’Oréal executives who, in turn, discover these new talents.
