WHO WE ARE
ESTIEM Local Group Piraeus is the affiliate of the international organization ESTIEM for the University of Piraeus – a non-profit organization whose members consist of students and graduates of Industrial Administration & Technology. It was established in the year 2019.
In a wider sense, ESTIEM consists of students and graduates of all departments related to the field of industry, as well as a variety of cooperating public and private companies in more than 30 countries.
GOALS
The purpose of the organization is to encourage and create relationships between students both locally and internationally, as well as to support their personal and professional development. The actions and programs offered by ESTIEM support the creation of relationships and networks between students / graduates and companies / organizations as well as the cultivation of skills such as leadership, language learning and teamwork.
ACTIVITIES
Every year, thematic events are held worldwide from each ESTIEM branch. Participants are given the opportunity to meet fellow students and colleagues from other countries and cultures, to develop their business skills and to analyze case studies through the eyes of the speakers. There are also opportunities for training and certification of students’ professional competence such as training in the Lean Six Sigma methodology and its application in industrial work.
