According to the decision of the Assembly of the Department, of March 11, 2021, effective from the academic year 2021-2022, students in their 4th year of study have the right to apply for a re-examination in four (4) courses of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of study, in which the grade they had achieved is between five and seven and for which, in any case, the new examination grade will apply. In particular, the following applies:

  1. During the period 1-30 of November, 4th-year students will make an application to the Secretariat requesting the improvement of the grade of up to four courses.

  2. The students who requested a grade improvement will be examined in the respective regular examination periods (winter or spring) together with the rest of the examined students in the same period.

  3. The grade obtained after the grade improvement, if it allows the student to pass the course, is final and in no case is a second request for improvement of the grade allowed. In the process of grade improvement, the course is graded as if it were examined for the first time, without taking into account the grade of the first examination.

  4. If the student does not pass the examination of the course, for which the student has asked for a grade improvement, then the student is considered to have failed the course. Although the student has the right to participate in the exams again until he/she passes the course, under no circumstances can he/she revive the permanently expired right to improve the grade of this course again.
