According to the decision of the 57th/3-4-2025 Assembly of the Department, students in the 4th year of study have the right to request a grade improvement in courses in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of study, which will be numbered six (6), the grade subject to correction will be between five (5) and seven (7) and in any case the new grade will apply.
In particular, the following apply:
- 4th-year students will apply to the Secretariat for a grade improvement of up to six (6) courses, during the course registration period (winter and spring semester).
- The students who requested a grade improvement will be examined in the respective regular examination periods (winter or spring) together with the rest of the examined students in the same period.
- The grade obtained after the grade improvement, if it allows the student to pass the course, is final and in no case is a second request for improvement of the grade allowed. In the process of grade improvement, the course is graded as if it were examined for the first time, without taking into account the grade of the first examination.
- If the student does not pass the examination of the course, for which the student has asked for a grade improvement, then the student is considered to have failed the course. Although the student has the right to participate in the exams again until he/she passes the course, under no circumstances can he/she revive the permanently expired right to improve the grade of this course again.
